We make 100% cotton flannel nightgowns, nightshirts and pyjamas for women, and nightshirts for men. Our products are comfy, sewn with care, and elegantly simple in design. They are based on traditional styles that are practical for everyday life. We search for thick, warm flannel or flannelette with a vintage look and leave out the lace and frills. Our roomy sizes are geared to fit the shapes and sizes of real people.In 1982 we joined Canada's largest craft show, the One of a Kind Christmas Show in Toronto, Ontario, and we participated for 24 years. We've sold over 10,000 flannelette nightgowns, flannel nightshirts, pj's and robes to great customers who have faith in our products and return year after year. We also get lots of compliments so we think we've been doing something right!
Our customers are looking for quality gifts that don't feel mass-produced, but rather hand-made with love and skill. Something special that is increasingly hard to find. We have a certain cosy factor that some people equate with happy times past times when a doting aunt or grandmother made them flannelette nightgowns for Christmas.
Our news is that we've said goodbye to the shows and are now selling by mail. New customers have discovered us by word of mouth or gifts received, so that we are used to shipping to many parts of Canada (and the U.S.). We hope our customers' favourites become your favourites too!For this, our first on-line season, we are offering the nightgown and women's nightshirt. Since we are now sewing to order we feel we can commit to making these items in time for Christmas. We have the same styles, sizes and quality as always, in a crop of new colours.
Our products also include women's pyjamas, houserobes and men's nightshirts. We can make red flannel men's nightshirts before Christmas and we have cotton ones already made. We're sorry we can't do women's pyjamas and houserobes until after Christmas. Then we'll be able to expand into producing our entire line with the fabrics we know our customers are looking for.
